As marketing coordinator, While reporting directly to Patriot Motor Corporation™ Chief Brand Officer, Mark Green, I was responsible for developing the Patriot brand and market identity (for print, intranet/internet and television) and also providing/maintaining corporate guidelines, specifications and trademark rights for all divisions of Patriot Motor Corporation™ (Patriot Marine Industries™ Patriot OffRoad™ Patriot Productions™ and Patriot V-Twin Musclebikes™). Other responsibilities included directing and designing the creativeís for corporate signage, direct mailers, postcards, press kits, brochures, kiosk displays, trade show exhibits, labeling and apparel and gift merchandise. I brought over 25 years as a visual design professional to the Patriot organization and Steel Dreams TV production staff. Steel Dreams is the weekly half-hour television show that launched today's popular motor sports programming with coverage of exciting races, speed events and big shows filled with industry superstars, high-profile celebrities and famed designer/builders. Now in its sixth season, Steel Dreams reaches over 76 million homes in 137 major markets every week- over 70% of all U.S. markets - via 216 affiliates and nine cable networks. My credits included: assistant line producer, photographer, cameraman, production assistant and graphic editor.
Before joining Patriot, I was responsible for branding and producing national ad campaign and identity for PureForm Labs (the ultimate in nutritional supplements) reporting directly to CEO and President, Ron McCormick. As the creative director I rolled out new packaging and label designs, signage, direct mailers and launched a world wide website.
I have extensive experience in marketing and corporate communications, specializing in visual information and branding. In 1979, Joined International Business Machines in Boulder, Colorado serving as a member of the IBM corporate visual design group handling Printing Systems. I was responsible for corporate visual standards and guidelines adherence, managing systems branding and IBM identity usage (logos/visual) and teaming with advertising agencies Korey Kay and Leopard Communications for the worldwide IBM Pennant/Printing rollout. I also managed and directed visual information for IBM systems and products for the Internet, various print and graphical user interface environments (using state-of-the-art visualizations/illustrations), photography, video, animation and 3D modeling. |
